Subways’ spokesman Jared Fogle’s home in Indiana was raided by the FBI yesterday morning. FBI agents took computers and other electronics after a warrant was issued. Some speculate it to be related to child pornography, however, Fogle was not charged nor arrested.
Fogle found fame after being discovered by Subways for his weight loss which he credited to eating solely their sandwiches. However, the company decided to suspend their relationship during the investigation.
Back in April of this year, the executive director of the Jared Foundation – a foundation Jared founded to help prevent child obesity-, Russell Taylor, 43 was arrested and is serving time for child exploitation, possession of child pornography and voyeurism. It is believed that the raid of Fogle’s home may be related. No word has been given as to whether or not Fogle participated in the activities Taylor did. He is cooperating with authorities. Fogle had a cameo appearance in “Sharknado 2” which featured New York City.
